Drives/observations

• 5 drives and 1 observation are required. (You have 6 months from the first day of class to complete your course requirements)

• Please schedule your observation first.  What is an observation?  During an observation your student will sit in the back seat and observe another student drive with an instructor.   —->>>>  We do not wait for observers.  So please be a few minutes early or right on time. The drive will leave without you if you are late. <<<<—-

• We have instructors scheduled every day: Weekdays 930am-9pm and weekends 9am-6pm.

• Please be aware that you may need to schedule a drive during school hours, just like a doctor/dentist appointment.  Drive #4 (freeway drive) might be a good one to schedule during the day!

• Drive schedules are posted 1 month at a time on the 17th of each month. Log in as early as possible on this day for lots of options!  Drive times fill fast, so please don’t wait. If you have trouble, please contact us right away.

• We post additional times throughout the month, so keep checking!

• Every student is on the cancel list, so be on the lookout for emails when there are cancellations.  The emails will come from xcelerate@drivered.mail.

• Remember, we charge a $60 cancel/no-show fee in the following circumstances:

  • Less then 24 hours cancel notice.

  • You do not bring a valid permit to your drive.

  • You are more than 10 minutes late.

  • You do not show up to your drive.

• To schedule a course drive.
  A total of 5 drives are required.  You can have 2 scheduled at one time.
  1)  Go to “Scheduling”
  2)  Click on “Schedule My Drives”
  3)  The Calendar will come up. Choose a day/time that works.  Choose “Schedule Lesson”.
  4)  A confirmation email will go out almost immediately.  Please check for this it will have important information that you’ll need before your drive.  If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check junk/spam.

• To schedule the observation.
  One observation is required.  An observation is when your student will sit in the back seat and observe another student drive with an instructor.

  1)  Go to “Scheduling”
  2)  Click on “Schedule My Drives”
  3)  The Calendar will come up. When scheduling your time slot, please note the “Seating” column to choose “Observer”.  If you can’t find an open slot for an observation, please contact the office and we will help.
