How to schedule your DOL Driving (Road) Test with Xcelerate.
This test can be taken anytime after you pass the DOL Written Test.
—>>> Your driving test score is good for one year.
Contact us and we’ll help you schedule your test. Call 425-415-7775 or email Help@XcelerateDriving.com.
We offer two types of drive test appointments.
1) Test only. This appointment is for the official DOL Driving Test. It is booked as a 30 minute appointment. But depending on traffic conditions, can take anywhere from 20-30 minutes total.
You can use your own car or a school car for this test. Our school car is always available, you do not need to request it. If you use your own car you must provide proof of insurance for the car, current registration and all lights and turn signals must work. We charge $60 for each attempt.
2) Practice/Test Combo. You must have a WA permit or valid license from another country to schedule this appointment.
This is a practice test and official DOL Driving Test combination. It is booked as a 1 hour appointment. But depending on traffic conditions, can take anywhere from 40 -60 minutes total. We charge $100 for each attempt.
If you have any other questions, please email us at Help@XcelerateDriving.com.

How to obtain your WA State Instruction (Learner’s) Permit
Login to your DOL License eXpress account. (dol.wa.gov)
1) If you are able to get your permit online, you will find the option “Get your permit” on your homepage.
2) If that option is not there, you will need to visit a DOL office in person to get your permit. There is a link on your homepage to make an appointment. Make sure to read the “Proof of Identity” information before you go, so you bring all the correct documents you will need.
Once you get your permit, you can start driving at home with a licensed driver (at least 5 years experience) in the passenger seat next to you. Or you can schedule lessons with Xcelerate! See our Adult Driver’s page for more info.
