How to schedule your DOL Driving (Road) Test with Xcelerate.

This test can be taken anytime after you pass the DOL Written Test. We charge $60 for each attempt.  You can use your car or one of our school cars (Toyota Prius’) for no extra charge.

—>>>   Your driving test score is good for one year.

1)  Sign into your Xcelerate student portal account.
2)  Find the menu, and choose “Enroll”
3)  Choose “Adult DOL Driving Test (each attempt)”.
4)  Click on the green $60 button.
5)  You will need to read and electronically sign our Testing policies document.  Printing is not required unless you want a copy for your records. Then pay.
6)  Once paid, you will then go to the menu, choose Scheduling, then Schedule my Road Test.  If you can’t find a time as soon as you would like, please contact our office, we might be able to get you in sooner.
7)  A confirmation email will go out almost immediately.  Please check for this email, it will have important information that you’ll need before your test.  If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check junk/spam.  You can also see your appointment in your porta by going to the Appointments page. This is where you can cancel or reschedule your appointment as well.

If you have any trouble scheduling or have any other questions, please email us at Help@XcelerateDriving.com.

How to obtain your WA State Instruction (Learner’s) Permit

Login to your DOL License eXpress account.  (dol.wa.gov)

1)  If you are able to get your permit online, you will find the option “Get your permit” on your homepage.
2)  If that option is not there, you will need to visit a DOL office in person to get your permit.  There is a link on your homepage to make an appointment. Make sure to read the “Proof of Identity” information before you go, so you bring all the correct documents you will need.

Once you get your permit, you can start driving at home with a licensed driver (at least 5 years experience) in the passenger seat next to you.  Or you can schedule lessons with Xcelerate!  See our Adult Driver’s page for more info.
